If you’ve recently purchased a new Vizio TV, you’ll quickly realize how hard it is to find the power button on the television.
It’s not labeled accordingly, which makes things even harder, but no need to worry. In this post, we’ll show you exactly where the power button is on your Vizio Smart TV.
Where is the Power Button on my Vizio TV?
To start, face your Vizio TV. Then, check the back right side of your television, near the bottom of the TV. The power button is directly underneath the HDMI ports. On older Vizio TVs, the power button is located in one of two areas: the side of the television, or the bottom left corner of the television, depending on which specific model you’re using.
How to Find the Power Button on Different Model Vizio TVs
Older Vizio TVs (Before 2015)
Before 2015, Vizio TVs didn’t have the slim, sleek model they use on their televisions today. But, it was much easier to find the power button on the television. There are two different places you’ll find the power button, here’s where they are.
Option A. Bottom Left Corner
This one is self-explanatory, but check the bottom left corner of the television for any buttons, including your power button.
Option B. Side Of The Television
Check both sides of the television for the control panel that looks like this. The power button will be indicated for you to use, along with other menu options.
Newer Vizio TVs (2015 Until Now)
On newer models, you’ll want to look for three vertical buttons on the back of the television. They’re generally located under the HDMI ports, and the top button is power.
If you’re facing the television, reach around the bottom corners on each side, looking for the button indicated below.
Explaining How The Vizio TV Power Button Layout Works
Once you find the Vizio TV power button layout, you’ll be wondering “how does this work?”
Don’t worry, we got you covered.
There are three buttons, and here’s what each one does:
- The top button is the power button
- The middle button is a volume control button
- The bottom button is an input source button.
Conclusion
Once you know where the power button is on your Vizio TV, it’s quite easy to find…
This can be especially useful if you want to reset your television without a remote or fix a flickering issue.
If you have an older model, you’ll want to check the bottom front of the television, or the side of the television.
On newer models, you’ll want to search around the back of the television until you find the Vizio TV power button layout.
